New in 2017, the Fresh Start Futurity was organized to give futurity trainers a chance to put their horses on the clock early in the season.  Held at the Beef Complex on the South Dakota State Fairgrounds in Huron, SD the Fresh Start Futurity includes a 2D Futurity, 2D Maturity/Derby, 2D Pole Bending Futurity, Open Pole Bending, 4D Barrel Races & 3D Youth Barrel Races.  Sanctioned by the Northern Regional Futurity Tour (NRF) & WPRA, the Fresh Start Futurity will have a minimum of $2000 added and the Fresh Start Maturity/Derby will have $1000 added.  The 4D Open Barrel Races will be sanctioned by Blazin Barrels, WPRA, NWBRA (DOUBLE Qualifier!!!) and will be a UBRA Tour Stop meaning double the points and double the attendance.  The 4Ds will have $500 added each day with an additional $100 added to the Youth each day.
